BE PART OF MAKING A NEW MUSIC VIDEO!
I'm making a new lyric video for my song, "99 Bottles." (A lyric video is one that shows the lyrics to the song -- a good example / inspiration is Grace Vanderwaal's video for "I Don't Know My Name.") The video will premiere online for Somerville's socially-distanced ArtBeat 2020 festival. This video will feature artwork contributed by people from the community of people who enjoy my music -- meaning you!
GUIDELINES: Submissions must be JPG or PNG format at a minimum resolution of 200dpi. The ideal proportions are 16:9 aspect ratio -- the same dimensions as a letter envelope or a YouTube video -- but we'll make it work regardless!
DEADLINE: Sign-ups are now completed. Submissions due by midnight on July 1.
Everyone who signs up will get a download of the full track, "99 Bottles," and everyone who sends completed artwork will get a download of the full album!! Want to hear the full song first? You can listen to "99 Bottles" on Bandcamp!

Lyric image: Illustrate words from the song lyrics. These are really important! I'll send you a phrase and you can get creative. If you don't like to draw, you can arrange refrigerator magnets, build words out of legos or clay, type on an old typewriter, write in icing on a cake, use bottlecaps like I did in the video...

Image only: For people who want to get really artsy, or for kids who don't write letters yet... These can include drawings of the band, boats, bottles, and more. I'll give you a topic to illustrate, and you can get creative with paints, pen, crayons, sidewalk chalk, collage, or whatever else sounds exciting to you!
